On 5 January 2024, Delegated Regulation (EU) 2024/197 (21st ATP amending the CLP Regulation) was published in the Official Journal of the European Union. The regulation comes into force on 25 January 2024, adapts or adds 52 substances to Part 3 of Annex VI of the CLP Regulation and brings changes to the classification and labelling of affected products. The substances include, for example, cinnamaldehyde, lead powder, lead (massive), hydrogen sulphide, sulphur dioxide and benzyl alcohol. The changes will apply from 01.09.2025.
