The Safety Data Sheet (SDS) is a vital document containing comprehensive details about chemical composition, potential hazards, labeling, storage, transport, and safe disposal of a product. It's crucial globally for the safe transport of hazardous products, facilitating standardized data sharing among stakeholders. Regulatory authorities prioritize SDS’s due to their implications for labor and environmental protection.

Do you require an SDS for a specific region? We can customize it for you!

EU · Iceland · Liechtenstein · Norway · Switzerland · UK · Turkey · Japan · Korea · USA · Canada · China · Singapore · Russia · Australia · South Africa

Our SDS’s for the EU adhere to the current Regulation (EC) 1907/2006 on Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals (REACH) and consider the latest amending Regulation (EU) No. 2020/878. For regions outside the EU, we prepare SDSs in compliance with the Globally Harmonised System (GHS) and relevant country-specific implementations (e.g., CFR, WHMIS, GOST, etc.).

We conduct classification of your substances and mixtures, ensuring all subsequent content is derived accurately. The information within the SDS can also influence product labeling, packaging, storage, and transportation.

You need a safety data sheet for a region not mentioned? We would be happy to check the requirements and provide you with an individual offer!

After the creation is before the change

As a company, ensuring the ongoing compliance of Your Safety Data Sheets (SDS) is a vital responsibility. Changes in regulations, ingredient classifications, or revised formulations may necessitate SDS updates. It's essential to inform customers of any SDS modifications made in the last 12 months. For export products within the EU, SDS must also be available in the language of the target country. This involves not only professional translations but also consideration of different national regulations and limit values of the target countries.

At Dr. Gans-Eichler Chemieberatung, we maintain a database with thousands of SDS from various customers. Utilizing specialized software and trained personnel, we efficiently handle change requirements and promptly provide updated data sheets to our customers.

We tailor our approach, either taking charge of the entire Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) preparation process for some clients or empowering others by establishing expertise and internal process structures through in-house training.
