Food chemist Andreas Rau
Andreas Rau has a degree in food chemistry with a focus on toxicology.
After obtaining the diploma degree at the Technical University of Kaiserslautern end of 2009, he devoted himself to a research project at the University of Münster for determining the neurotoxicity of mercury compounds.
Prior to his entry into the Regulatory Affairs area, he was employed in acquainted companies both, as a product developer (at a trading company with more than 3,000 stores), and also in the method validation.
Since early 2013 he is part of TGE Consult with the focus on the safety assessment of cosmetic products and creating mandatory documents such as safety data sheet. Since continuous training is essential, Mr. Rau takes part in industrial cooperative training for safety assessors.
Further relevant education references are courses of the German Society for Pharmacology and Toxicology (DGPT) and the limited expertise in accordance with § 5 of the German Chemicals Prohibition Ordinance (ChemVerbotsV).
